    Hello,
I keep 14 goats in my farm and of late I have been losing them from a strange disease. So far I have lost 3 animals. The animals gradually grow weak, cannot stand but continue feeding normally as they lie down. Then they die. This one died two days ago. What could be the problem?

The goats could be suffering from calcium deficiency. Ensure that they get enough calcium and other minerals. Livestock that are fed on mainly hay have a tendency to lack calcium

This is sad. How do you feed them? Any signs of infection? I can see there is some kind of oedema on the neck

No obvious signs though the neck was a bit swollen. The other two died with twisted necks. I feed them hay most of the time and occasionally release them to the fields to browse, and sometimes give them maize grains.
